The thin lines are great! You notice them first in the foliage, but then it is in the finer details of Black Panther as well. It's a very old school way of illustration.

Oh that's a very interesting point! I've always felt that Garry's work has a Bronze Age flair to it. Now that you mention it, I realise that's partly it, the fine lines and details. They appear to have gained some prevalence during the Bronze Age, and then just slightly faded again.
