DescriptionFirst revealed during the CAF+ Collector Interview #310.All good things come to those who wait. It's magical. It's bright, powerful, and stunning. What a romantic but heroic pose. The colors are vibrant, and the watercolor goes so beautifully with the mood of the piece. I think Carmen has captured the most ethereal Jean Grey that I've ever seen. I love how the piece focuses on the characters, while Jean has the most wonderful showing/essence of her powers. I love the little lens flares/reflections. Scott is strong and comforting. I am so very grateful, happy, and that she has a singular talent. You can check out our discussion of this piece right around the 2-hour and 27-minute mark! Lovely!
Thank you, James. Such a beauty and worth the wait. I can see this exact scene in my mind with the two of them spinning in the air. It's just gorgeous.

Absolutely beautiful commission! Love what Carmen does with her color work, especially drawing the lines in colors to help give it that ethereal look. I'm on the (long) waitlist, so fingers crossed I get the call for a commission spot. Huge congrats!
