Description

An impromptu commission from Neal back in 2020, to my knowledge this is one of the only (if not *the* only) time he's drawn Mar-Vell outside of Kree-Skrull War related material. Neal could crank out slick Batman headshots almost on autopilot, so I wanted to stretch him into more unfamiliar territory. My only "art direction" was to suggest the character looking up toward the stars.

What I especially like here are the pencil marks & whiteout visible up close � a tiny glimpse into the creation process of a master.

Defintiely shows the extra effort Adams put into the drawing with lines that are more carefully applied to express a softer look.
