DescriptionMy second cover for the official Death Wish Coffee comic, written & drawn by Ron Marz and Rick Leonardi. Man, was this FUN!! Everything I love to paint, and bringing the yeti to life was a real joy! The moment Ron Marz said, "How'd you like to paint a Viking fighting a yeti?", I knew exactly what I wanted to do! This brought me right back to my formative Savage Sword of Conan years, almost 30 years ago! My favorite thing I've done in a long time!Acrylic 20"x30" Social/Sharing |

Having studied your DVD and paintings for a few years now, I think this piece might be your best yet of your recent work. I can't see any flaw nor would I change anything. It has been said that any square inch of a J.M.W. Turner painting can be a painting by itself. I would dare say that such a statement is true of this painting. Every square inch is a delight and worthy of study.

That means so much! Thank you! It's one of my favorite things I've done but gets very little interest because it's not Conan or another known character. Thank you for the kind words about it!

I had my chance to buy this gem back in 2020, but didn't have the $4000 at the time. So I bought Captain Action for $2000. And I still look at that painting everyday in my studio. It's terrific and I love it. But I should have bought both. I should have figured out a way to close the purchase of both. Now I have the funds and it's killing me that Odinforce #2 is long gone. What a gorgeous painting, absolutely equal to the stunning beauty of Joe's recent Conan #1 painting.
