Description

Greg Capullo (Pencils), Art Thibert (Inks), Grant Morrison (Story) - From Greg Capullo's very first issue of Spawn! This is the first issue that Todd McFarlane didn't (in some way) work on, and would lead to Capullo becoming regular series artist less than a year later. Gabrielle gets word from upstairs that Spawn has to be dealt with. Ink over graphite on Image Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Slight toning, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout touch-ups, and light handling wear. In Excellent condition.

A classic issue if you look back on it! Todd was building Spawn into an empire and was working on that Batman crossover with Miller. Capullo of course was not immediately welcomed because they bought this for Todd's art. I remember it made Capullo defiantly even more driven to success and he definitely overcame!
