Description

A beautiful opening full-page splash from the Spanish master of illustration, Esteban Maroto. This is very rare nude page of our famous heroine introduced in the 90s from the world of Zorro and the only ever nude full-page splash published (that I�m aware of). It shows Lady Rawhide in the buff as she creatively hides her famous red boots and whip in a hat box! The incredible line detail that Maroto is famous for can be seen in the character and background elements, but also having her staring directly back really grabs the viewer�s attention. Illustrated in ink over graphite, this work is done on standard 11x17 illustration board and is in excellent condition.

Beautiful! Maroto's erotic style can be appreciated no matter what setting is applied. This looks to be done in a 70's illustration style! I was bewildered that Lady Rawhide was a hot bad girl book back in the day. If they would have shown this in their previews, I think a lot more people would have understood and been on the Topps train!
