DescriptionDaytripper by Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá is one of my favorite comic series, and I loved how it dramatized everyday life and the little moments that can change the trajectory of it. As I recall, the book was all done digitally, so no original art exists for the series other than random sketches and commissions. I missed out on some previous commission opportunities by the twins, and I was lucky enough to finally get on Fábio's list this year.I asked for something cute/romantic with Brás and Ana (the main couple in the series), and Fábio knocked it out of the park. I like to think of this as their first date (which coincidentally was one of the suggestions in my commission request), and the cherry on top is the text caption at the bottom, which makes it feel like a page right out of the comic. There are so many things I love about Daytripper (seriously, go check it out), and I'm excited to finally own a piece of Daytripper art by one of its creators. Thanks, Andrew (and Fábio)! Depicts the scene with great sincerity and sentimentality. It affect you even if you've never read the comic. All the backgrounds are those little details that don't matter at the time, but will be the things that matter more over the course of time.

Daytripper was a great series. Seeing this commission is like a time machine – makes me want to go back and re-read it. Congrats Kin!

Daytripper is a great comic and Moon perfectly captures its essence in this "one page story" commission. The caption is definitely the clincher. Congratulations!

Oh wow, can't believe I'm only now seeing this! Absolutely love Daytripper, and the commission is perfect! It just oozes with romance and atmosphere. Congrats!

This is stuningly gorgeous. Love the simple negative space of the counter. It gives the eye a resting piont from the busier details of the background. Daytripper is a uniquely beautiful work and this commission rivals any page from it.
