Description

Another personal gem right here. I�ve been hunting for a Sal Buscema piece for years that was within my spending budget. Overjoyed that I was able to pick this up at the last Live Art Sale. I love Sal�s art and how he�s draws a wide range of facial expressions in his characters like he did on the Hulk in Bill Mantlo�s phenomenal run from the 80s where he�d be a mindless raging monster in one panel then a sad outcast who was rejected by society in another. His art added a lot of emotional depth to Bill�s humanistic style of writing on The Incredible Hulk that set the benchmark for the character. Big thanks to Jason Richardson who was willing to part with this beautiful piece!

Classic Sal Hulk face! You can tell there is a man inside, but the anger and muscles are burying it!
