Description

The last of the three Moy pinups I picked up off of eBay, and definitely the most impressive! Between the full-figure pose and the Legion symbol in the background, this one is a real showstopper! I love how natural and comfortable Imra's pose feels, here (especially since it's not exactly a natural thing to be free-floating!), which I think is accentuated by the way she's looking past the viewer, not at them. And Jeff just went over and beyond with the background in this one. It's not exactly easy to draw a well-proportioned Legion symbol (I know for a fact that that shooting star foils MY efforts every time), but Jeff nailed it here. I also love how Jeff drew it as part of a larger crest, with all those extra cut stone details, and how he left some highlights on the edges of Saturn Girl's suit to make sure she didn't blend into it.

The longer hair in a pig tail is part of an athletic look, but they still thought pouches were still better over pockets for the aerodynamic look.

You do have to admire Legionnaires for getting the pouch-to-costume ratio juuuuuust right!
