Description

From now on, in my gallery, Friday shall be known as "Fred Friday."

Earlier this year I went on a bit of a "Fred Hembeck sketch card binge." I just couldn't help myself! Everyone warned me. "Be careful, Paul" they said. "Fred's art is addictive." But did I listen?

I started with one character cards ... then I went to two ... then full teams. Marvel! DC! Vertigo! Valiant! Even freakin' Charlton Comics! Each type of card was a gateway drug to the next one!

My mania has died down for now, but the beast could awaken at any moment. In the meantime I get to share these wonderful gems with you all, one or two each Friday for a while.

Fred's art is addictive, I came home from SDCC with a tiny little letter package waiting for me, I wonder what the future entails? Surely the character I got will know.

Oh OK lookin' forward to many Fridays - you got bit :) Always loved with SH how his nostrils on the costume look the same as the lenses! Perfect character to get the Hembeck treatment. Congrats!
