Description

Derec's been on a roll lately, drawing and painting tons of sketch cards and larger pieces. He did a whole bunch of Legion cards the other week, and, well, what am I if not a collector of Legion sketch cards?

I'm posting these in alphabetical order, but it just so happens the first card up is also my favourite of the bunch: Andromeda! Derec picked a great pose and threw in a gorgeous spacescape background to round things out. I love the blue he used, which really makes Andy's orange uniform pop. And I love the way he shaded and highlighted her hair, which gives it volume while still sticking to his preferred style of using a smaller number of clean, strong lines.

another cool Legion sketch card for your collection, this one has nice color seperation and generally warmer tones with that blue hue for the space background behind her, but retaining the black for within her costume. nice one!
