It's your one way ticket to midnight
Call it Heavy Metal
Higher than high, feelin' just right
Call it Heavy Metal
Desperation on a red line
Call it Heavy Metal noise

For me what always stood out about the movie was the character voiced by John Candy (Den?). Just seemed so silly. Taarna however is the icon of the film and with that you made a great choice in this pick up!

I remember being so excited to see the movie because I was a fan of the magazine. But I was left with a totally unexpected impression. As soon as the movie was over, my buddy and I hopped into the car, drove to our favorite record store (remember those?) in Berkeley, and each buying a copy of the soundtrack album. While I certainly enjoyed the film, as I sit here and reminisce, I can play all the music in my head, but have a harder time picturing any of the movie's images. Hell, just thinking about the movie now makes me want to pull the album out for a listen. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. At my age, that's a long walk.

My oh my, how this lady can fly
Once the art's flowin’ beneath you
You know you just cartoon, the way she moves
You wait for her to finally release you
It's got a gap surprise to feel your temperature rise
You've got paint brush of redline fever
'Cause there is just one cure that they know for sure
You just become a heavy metal believer
Won't you take a flight (fly, fly, fly)
On heavy metal
It's the only cellg\ that you can travel
Drawn back home

Sweet. Is the Taarna image a reproduction or original?

So heavy! Best cel I have seen! The beautiful frame job and border only continues the flight.
