Description

Lots going on here, as Spidey and Green Goblin have just disappeared down a well into a dungeon area, and the door has slammed shut. There are two great panels of Ms Marvel who is currently wearing Ock's arms, plus some Kraven, JJJ and ... Doug.

But the MAIN thing is that Rek-Rap is apparently okay after being impaled by the Green Goblin's glider! I think. Because with him, ya just never know for sure.

Curt Connors asks him "Rek-Rap, are you okay?"
Rek-Rap: "Oh yeah ... just stabbed through the heart. Luckily, I have more!"
Curt Connors: "Are you sure about that?"
Rek-Rap: "Absolutely not!"

Hahaha!

But yeah, he's fine, because at the end of the issue, he asks Norman if he can keep the glider. For sentimental reasons I guess? Anyway ... thanks for looking!

YES! YES! YEEEEEEES! I can't believe he survived that goblin glider puncture to the heart! I thought my favourite new character was gone forever! After all the seemingly hundreds of characters that have died in comics over the years, none of which have ever been brought back, I cannot believe my eyes are showing me that Rek-Rap survived and will continue on as an ongoing character! Comic book deaths, as we all know, are always permanent, so I'm blown away that Marvel made an exception this one time only! YES! Long live Rek-Rap!

Maybe it's best Rek Rap doesn't know and can be blissfully ignorant.  He also doesn't need to know gravity exists so he could suddenly walk on air.  Powerful and bold characters that McGuinness shows with the correlating thick outlines.

He does let Rek-Rap keep it!  Norman decides he doesn't need it anymore, as he is finally free of his evil/sins.  Though we all know that the Green Goblin never truly dies.  He'll be back!!  And then let's hope Rek-Rap didn't trade the glider for some baseball cards.  Haha!
