DescriptionAnd finally, we have come to the last issue from Humberto and Victor's run on this great title, where Peter and Miles were trapped in the Arcadium, leading fantasy lives until they managed to break free, only to be thrown into battle with Hammerhead and a bunch of mob boss robots. They overcame that obstacle, only to suddenly face K.N.A.I.V.E., a brand new super-villain that is a combination of Miles Warren (the original Jackal) and the AI consciousness that’s powering the Arcadium. And now the fun really begins! I was able to grab quite a few interiors from this issue. Mainly because they were drawn on small boards and were much more affordable. But the pages still have an immense amount of detail. Just wait until I post the epic double page spread later in the issue. Anyway, thanks for looking, and enjoy the ride! Social/Sharing |

Great fully drawn page as Ramos doesn't stat any repeating headshot! He keeps th story moving with quick edits back and forth!

nobody calls Hammerhead their Flunky and gets away with it!!!
oohhhh I'm a sucker for a clean/even 8 panel 2 x 4 layout (or 9 panel 3x3, dealers choice)!

This is what's known as a great talking heads page! But uh, exactly what dimensions are these boards? It appears they may only be 2" x 3" or so. I mean, that would certainly explain why Ramos chose not to draw any backgrounds in this issue. All hail K.N.A.I.V.E!

The boards for this issue are 8 1/2" by 13." So not all that small, but they definitely allowed Humberto to get away with drawing less backgrounds --- though there is a double page spread later in the issue that is cuh-razy detailed with some amazing backgrounds.

Ramos presents the best masked facial expressions. I don't know when Spidey masks first began to emote regularly but his do it best. He could put a mask on The Rock and still perfectly convey The People's Eyebrow. Fun page!

Love seeing the OA in this talking heads page vs the published one with dialogue! Good stuff. Congrats!
