For me, the Peter/Gwen pages are more memorable than 99% of battle pages from the series. Congrats!

I'm very, very happy for you, Jeff. To obtain a page from the first comic you ever read is special indeed. And a Kane Spidey page with Gwen to boot!!!!!!! Priceless!!!!!!

Who says there are no happy endings for Peter Parker? This is a great page with a great personal story to go with it. Big congrats Jeff!

Congratulations on finding a page from your very first comic!!!! I have to echo Gene's sentiment that the Gwen Stacy character pages with Peter is often times even better than the best battle pages. Fantastic page!!!!

It's true that every time a comic art collector acquires a long sought grail, you hear a bell, and an angel gets his wings. Congrats, Jeff!

The interaction of Peter Parker and Gwen made the Spider Man series for me. Perfectly penciled by Kane, this page is pure nostalgia.

That is great! Terrific story. Glad you got a page from your first comic. There is something special to getting pages from either your first or favorite comic. Happy you were able to achieve that goal!

Jeff> Congrats! And I agree 100% about the last page theory that you stated. The most memorable panel in all my collecting is the last panel from the last page in the Vampirella 28 story. It is a cliffhanger which leads to the next issue. It was the second magazine from that series that I bought off the stands, and kept me on edge for nearly a month to find out what happens next. I still remember looking in the store thru the window and seeing the cover of the next issue that month after. The store was closed and I couldn't wait the next day to grab that copy!!! Your story IS what collecting should be all about....
