Description

What a cool page! In December 1941, the Red Skull captures Bucky and holds him captive on the top of a Zeppelin floating over Paris, set to explode. On this stunning half-splash page, Cap races up the Eiffel Tower on a commandeered Nazi motorcycle to save his partner and thwart the Skull's plans!

This moody page has it all... an eerie close up of the Red Skull's maniacal eyes, the determination on Steve's face and an incredible motorcycle feat only Captain America would dare! The last of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's "Color" stories focusing on the early days of iconic Marvel characters, I was very excited to add this stunning page after Sale's untimely passing.
