Description

This is another one of my "Grail pieces". This paperback cover was my old flip-phone background for several years. Then, when I started attempting to find original art to buy, I happened upon Comic Art Fans and voila! A huge THANKS goes out to Zane Zielinski for agreeing to part with this magnificent colossus! (I say colossus because Ken Barr, thankfully, works large)

The more i look at this, the more I think this painting started out as a Doc Savage piece --- just look at the central figures hair and physique. Am I right? You be the judge!

BTW, This pic is actually the one Zane provided. I'll update the post soon to show my new framing job for this one.
