Description

A fun "Bronze Age" Superman and Wonder Woman cover where the two of them are fighting invincible monolithic ice giants that intend to cleanse the earth by bringing on a new "Ice Age". This cover has really nice flow and proportions. Giordano used an unusual effect with a reflective ink or paint above Wonder Womans lasso. I'm not really certain as to why he did the effect in this fashion (other than it sort of looks cool on the finished art), but it is quite interesting to stare at in person. I had a bit of trouble photographing this one (due to the reflective nature of the ink) so I may update the page at a later date with a better photo. Thank-you.

Great vinage Supeman & Wonder Woman team up cover by a great art team up as well, congrats! Photo looks pretty good to me for not being a direct scan

A great time for these DC greats to team up with Superman in the movies and Wonder Woman on TV. Andru and Giordano are a classic pairing on these Superman Family of books.
