I got this pin-up from Mark Beachum in the early 2000s. I love the way Beachum's flowing lines give the imprssion of speed as the Silver Surfer is rocketing through the cosmos right at you.

The mercurial flow, imho, is how the Silver Surfer should be drawn. This captures that effect of mercury running across you lab table top. The time warp effect is a nice touch.
