Description

The second of two color commissions by José.

José has always been one of my favorite colorists. I figured it couldn't hurt to reach out to see if he'd be interested in coloring a couple of commissions for me.

He told me he doesn't typically take commissions but Jae was one of his first collaborators in the industry. I got this commission piece twenty years ago so José was particularly jazzed to see an early Lee piece.

I sent him high res scans and went to bed. By the time I woke up he had finished both of them! Ah, the benefits of being in different time zones.

Looks cool as the Jae Lee art of that time period deserves this kind of color treatment. The natural rock reflections done for the foreground is amazing!
