I love dinosaurs. Do you love dinosaurs? Well, Vero Stewart loves them even more and she also loves drawing them! I was very excited to have the opportunity to meet Vero this past weekend and was thrilled to bring this page home from her one shot comic, "Bardasaurus Rex". It was an absolute pleasure and I also learned that she can draw one mean Shoebill Stork!

Not only is Vero a fan of dinosaurs, but she is a big fan of Jack Kirby's Big Barda character, not to mention many other comic artists. Cough, cough DWJ :) Her idea for the story works remarkably well and makes for a book that I recommend you pick up. I won't spoil anything in regards to premise, but let's just say that there is Big Barda and dinosaurs and that's all you need to know!

There is some great action to be found with this interior page as we see Barda plug a T-Rex at the exact right moment. I love the up close shots of her as you can feel the tension with the facial expressions from panel to panel. Also some outstanding perspective shots on the T-Rex. The final panel is clearly the chef's kiss. Not even Jeff Goldblum could make a rex neck snap back like that!

I can't help but see the final panel as Dino Danceloor Moves when you pair this page with a Daft Punk banger!

I like that it's a pure silent page except for the sound effects. The dinosaur open mouth in the middle right under the big head panel is a nice visual progression.
