DescriptionVenom illustration/sketchOAX 2024 Art by Joshua Cassara Star Wars month has a couple of days left to go in it but I'm all out of pieces to share sadly! Happy to have been able to upload 16 new Star Wars pieces to the gallery this year though during the celebration. I am already working on my batch for next year which is fun, but don't have anything else "in hand" (still paying off or in transit etc.) - so I'm getting back to sharing art in other categories and stuff that I have not had a chance to scan until recently (nice to finally have access to it back again). This really cool mini piece by Joshua Cassara of Venom was done by Joshua Cassara at OAX 2024 in Orlando! Shoutout to James S for including it in a CAF care package he organized and put together from the show since I had to miss it last minute for injuries/surgery. I say "mini" since it's a small image area on an larger board. The full scan of the art board makes it a little harder to see it as a thumbnail, so I "zoomed in" for the main CAF post image. However I'll include the full scan of the entire art board in additional images to give the scale of the piece on the board itself. Social/Sharing |

The proportion of tongue to character is so good! I always thought these tiny characters on a full board were such a cool idea. Nice one, Kavi!

The art may be tiny, but at least Cassara drew Venom hung like a horse. Or maybe 5 horses! Oh wait, that's not his.......
