DescriptionFun Spidey vs Symbi commission here from artist Raymar Brunson. Thought that his concept was original and that can be tough to do sometimes with this overcommissioned combo. Spider-Man is using that web strand as extra leverage to tear the symbiote off and it works extremely well. We also don't get to see Eddie's face too often, so that is a great touch. Throw in some screentone and this one comes together quite nicely.Sincere thanks goes out to Raymar! You can find him on IG @artofbrunson He is also with Eli Schwab and crew at Cosmic Lion Productions and is currently taking commission spots for Heroes Con. Social/Sharing |

Wow, Spidey is not pulling his punches here! I guess after that battle with Magneto he knows he has to take the gloves (and face) off! No more Mr Nice Peter!

If I had a nickel for every time I've said No more Mr Nice Peter...

I always enjoy seeing Eddie's face peak through his symbiote seperating from himself (by force or by organic torture!) along with either half mask on half mask off Peter or battle damaged. Having both here makes it even cooler!

Love the meaty paws of Spider-Man getting down to work with pure muscle! Camera angle is strong shown both front facing and showing the physics by putting us in the vertical line of action.

Fabulous commission of Spider-Man vs Venom by Raymar Brunson. Love this pose of Spidey on top of Venom's shoulders and yanking off the symbiote's face mask to reveal Eddie Brock's worried face! It made me laugh--I haven't seen that before! Raymar's composition here feels right, with the upward POV making Venom look more massive and Spidey look smaller. Love Ryamar's brushwork here--His lines are very fluid! Great use of spot blacks as well! Fantastic pick-up, congrats!

Uniquely cool Spidey strategy composed here! Love how he's anchoring himself with the left hand via web, and Eddie's expression is perfect. Great stuff, T, congrats!
