Description

As Kevin joyfully announces that he has successfully gathered all of the items that fell out of Spidey's satchel (panel one), Spidey takes a run at Burnout (panel two), who suddenly and strangely turns into a flock of flaming birds.

Of course he does.

Kevin quips "You hit him so hard, he bird-st?" which meets with Spidey's punnish approval.

As they land on a building ledge (panel three), someone off panel says "SPIDER-MAN."

Who can that be? Stay tuned!

Three distinctly cool looking panels! That top panel looks like an homage to AF15 but also other modern splashy web slinging images of Spidey! Kevin's redemption, the Burnout Birds, and a Scott Pilgrim reference, this page has it all!

The top panel is almost a send off of the Amazing Fantasy #15 cover! I love that Burnout turned into a flock of birds with cool looking shades, though I think A Flock of Seagulls would've been even better. Nevertheless, we get another fantastic appearance by Kevin, so Nothing Else Matters.
