Dan Dare's mission ends as O'Ryan stays with the blind settlers, rejecting war. Dare and his crew depart, leaving him to his chosen destiny. This is the closing page one of the revival run of stories that brought back the British Science-Fiction hero in the pages of 2000 AD in 1977 after his original run in Eagle comics in 1967.

Great, classic pages from the 'Christmas' annual of the time. Have to say that this was one of the strips that scared the hell out of me at the time and looking at it again now I can see why !
