congratulations on such a nice example, love the razor technique he did on the zipatone. Got to meet Rafel a couple of years ago, talked to him about his Strange Tales II cover I got from him, very grounded and pleasant person with a great outlook on his creations.

I can imagine him laying down the screentone and having to go over it with an x-acto knife to create this pattern under all the crazy webbing!

I am going to go ahead and say it. I think this might be the best Spidey commission I have ever seen. Just outstanding. The pose, the detail, the zipatone. Cover quality if there ever has been and completely worth the wait! Sincere congrats!

The foot testing the elasticity of the webbing has the creative spark of Ditko or Gil Kane... The hand making the cat's cradle effect in the web... it's better than any city background could have been, and it simplifies the piece in such a beautiful way. Just perfect.
