DescriptionI never thought that I would see this original, since circumstances had indicated that it was not one of the strips saved by Frank King and his heirs. But this is clearly the first time Skeezix talks, and in a predictable way. I suppose that milestone is worth the price I had to pay for this strip - it is of great importance to me.Since this strip appeared at the height of prohibition, I assume that's not really a bottle of "medicine" that Walt is putting away in the medicine cabinet. Maybe he thought he was imagining Skeezix' first words after he had too much home brew. Actually, during the early 1920s, King made frequent mention of the desires of all the guys living on the alley to obtain liquor. Social/Sharing |

great strip! I was about to bid on it but I had already surpassed my gasoline alley budget... I have four 1921 strips in my gallery, take a look!
