Description

As a huge Dr. Fate fan, this hits on every element. It has Kent Nelson donning Nabu's helmet and allowing Nabu to take him over. We also have the tower, Egyptian glyphs, spell casting, Ankh symbolss and a huge image of Dr. Fate across this wonderful DPS. The additional benefit of it coming from the pen of Dave Gibbons with wonderful inking by Mark Farmer just couldn't get much better.

Absolutely stunning Dr Fate double page splash! Gibbons and Farmer combine to create a beautiful, slick ink line and the piece has everything you want in a great Dr Fate piece. Kudos!

As a character piece, this has even more in terms of Doctor Fate's history and grand spectacle than many of the covers he has appeared in. It has Gibbons 80's line work quality that is right about the time he worked on Watchmen.

Wow! This may be the coolest Dr. Fate DPS ever! This splash has got everything you could ever ask for in a Dr. Fate page: It's got Kent Nelson putting on the helmet of Nabu and allowing Nabu to take control of his body; it's got Egyptian hieroglyphics; It's got a full figure image of Dr. Fate flying through the air! All of fhis plus the extraordinary pencils of Dave Gibbons and the mastrerful inks of Mark Farmer. It's enough to a fanboy swoon! Just a great, great pick-up, congrats.
