I can't believe i haven't commented on this yet....don't know what else to say except this is a historic page now by my vote. The M.Zombies are one of the biggest and most significant creations in the last 5 years; not only uber-cool, they have had an unrivaled effect and appeal across the marvel universe, and this event was also the first time the main Marvel universe and the Ultimate intertwined. Simply, awesome.

Thats understandable because a smart, invisible zombie who could hold you in place with a force field while they nibble on any part they decide is the tastiest is incredibly scary.

Just a great page, great reveal into the splash page, frigheting scene and although the Marvel Zombies got worse and worse over time, they are still one of the best things Marvel came up with for a long time

I have mixed feelings about Land and his porny swipes, but I was reading this book at the time, and thoroughly enjoyed this story and the larger kickoff to Marvel's Zombie craze. Congrats!

I 100 percent guarantee if you saw the original artwork done for this short run you would change your mind. Its beautiful. Matt Ryan did magical inking on it. The comics field is full of swipers and artists who endlessly repeat the same poses and whose faces all look the same. I could name some really famous artists here. I do not blame anyone for short cuts as its a ruthless business that chews up talent.

Oh, I don't disagree. As I said, I was reading this at the time and thoroughly enjoyed Land's work on the series. Great page.
