Description

This is a print, not a sketch, which I acquired from the booth of DC legend Neal Adams. I admit at first glance you'd guess an original drawing. God knows I wish I had the pockets for that commission. This is Oliver Queen - THE REAL OLIVER QUEEN - ready to take aim at the latest bad guy in his path as Green Arrow. The motion in this sketch's composition is so subtle yet effective; the lines away from the arrowhead indicates it's being drawn back, as the bowstring is not clearly defined. Even the roughs behind the main figure indicate motion. This is an awesome piece and I feel damned lucky to having shaken the guy's hand and pose for a photo with him.
