DescriptionAnother great page from the early days of New Mutants by Bob McLeod, a truly impeccable storyteller and solid artist.On top of showcasing nearly the full cast and the solid draftsmanship, the storytelling is fantastic here. I really like the fact that their body build and the uncertainty of their facial expressions are consistent with their age and teenage years if placed in such dangerous situations. I always loved the graphic nature of Sunspot and the way his powers manifested themselves on the page. Very graphic. And those last two panels are great examples of that on top of showcasing his anger and impatience which is, again, perfectly in tune with the character’s psychology. Great work! Great issue - it was a shame Bob didn't stay on pencilling duties longer.

Bob was one of the first inkers that inked my work at Marvel, and he did a fantastic job!
