this is a 50th anniversary pencil illustration done by jerry Robinson(who co created Robin and the joker) I just love the classic look and the smiles on both of their faces as they swing into battle.

Very cool! He was still a working artist on strips and staying active, so you'd see him sporadically at conventions selling these pieces. Although pricey for the time, it was from a legend that actually deserved the credit for th golden age of Batman.

great piece from one of the artists most involved/synonymous with the look of these golden age DC era of characters , very cool addition to your collection, congrats!

Wow, what beautiful pencils! So much more dynamic than I'm used to typically seeing from Robinson sketches. What a great acquisition, Brian!
