DescriptionThis is actually the third and forth pieces of this series, drawn on one, large board. The first section is a tribute to the John Buscema issues, and the second part representing the members of the early to mid 70's in the issues drawn by Sal Buscema and George Perez among others. In particular I enjoyed seeing John draw characters that he hadn't drawn much in the past (if at all) such as Mantis and Swordsman. These two board connect to form one larger poster!Social/Sharing |

Jose, I agree about the Swordsman and Mantis, they were two of the major charcters of the Avengers when I started reading the book, and two of my favorites as well.

Oh my stars and garters! I'm just about speechless, this is so awesome. One of the nicest Byrne commissions I have seen, period. Congrats, Rich!

Wow! These are super! I can't wait to see the next two! Maybe with Hercules, Star Fox, Ms.Marvel, the Falcon & She-Hulk. With maybe the newer Ironman or the one with the nose!

This is absolutely phenominal! One of the best Byrne pieces I've ever seen, bar none! Marvellous characters, perfect linework and design - you can see how much fun the man had bringing this to life! And with all the hubbub around the Avengers film....Grail piece!

Fantastic assemblage of Avengers! John Byrne is so good he really captures the essense of each individual Avenger! I especially love his take on the Beast, Black Panther and Hellcat here!
