DescriptionI have been after a Longshot page for years. Always imaged that it would have Spiral on it or at least Longshot. Well this has 75% of Longshot's body, just not his head. Lol Seeing as my Doctor Strange collection is getting better and better this page did beckon me and I answered its call. The spectacular inking by Whilce (with assists by Scott) certainly helped. They did a masterful job.Here is HA's write up- Arthur Adams, Whilce Portacio, and Scott Williams Longshot #5 Story Page 9 Original Art (Marvel, 1986). Seven mystical panels featuring Doctor Strange's entry into the story. Mojo and Spiral's arrival has been noticed by the Sorcerer Supreme, who also flies off to confront the villains exiting from the portals. Arthur Adams' breakout series dazzles with intricate linework and kinetic energy, blending cinematic scope with fever-dream surrealism that redefined superhero storytelling for a generation. Rendered in ink over graphite on Strathmore Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, text paste-ups, blue pencil editorial notes, handling wear, and irregularly trimmed top edge and corners. In Very Good condition. Social/Sharing |

Cool, you got one of the Doc Strange pages. These were some of my faves from the series. Love Arthur's Michael-Golden-influenced Doctor Strange. I used to have a couple of them from issue #6 that I foolishly sold. Anyway, congrats on a great page buddy.

Beauty! These Strange pages showed that Arthur could just as easily work his magic for the rest of the Marvel line of books.

Nice page! There's a misunderstaning of how much I inked on this series. I was Whilce's ASSISTANT. I mostly filled in blacks, erased pages, and did a bit of background inks here and there. With the exception of the first issue (Brad Anderson) and 8 or 9 pages from LS 6 (Art Adams inks), this series is primarily inked by Whilce! Congrats on the page!

I meant Bill Anderson, not Brad Anderson...
