DescriptionIn 1998 DC published a one-shot Elseworld's Finest: Supergirl & Batgirl which I really loved. These were Matt Haley's design sheets for the book. And I bought pages from the issue without even thinking of trying to get all the pages given that it was a 64 page story. Then I heard that there were two collectors battling it out to collect the issue. One contacted me and asked me to buy my pages and I sold him all but one which was my favorite page (which is in My gallery here https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=10339) And I did say that if he needed this page to complete the book, I would sell it to him then as I was going to retain these model sheets anyway. I never did hear from him again, so I assume he never attained the rest of the pages. Social/Sharing |

Nice character designs. I especially like the Supergirl ones, though she could stand to drop a couple of cup sizes, as Haley drew her at Powergirl level bust size. Nice to see Haley's work, it's too few and far between ever since he went to work outside the comics industry.

I beleive it was Haley's intent to make this versiob of Supergirl more like Power Girl.
And I agree about Haley's work. Would have loved to see a lot more from him.

It's there to support the big "S" symbol. The giant beacon of hope. It is a heavy burden, but it inspires the elseworld when they see it.

Very cool. Loved Haley's work on the Tangent Joker issue.
