Description

First of all, let me state that I don't know what I was smoking, but I'm glad I did it.
Somehow, sometime, I came up with the idea of commissioning colourist Beth Sotelo doing her creations 'grumps' as the main heroes from Watchmen. I did not know what to expect, nor did I give her any guidelines aside from that they should be in the costumes from the comic, NOT the movie -it was all up to her, so when she handed it over to me at SDCC it took a while to 'soak it up'. According to Beth I made a face, but if I did it was completely unintentional. It came out great and is just as crazy/cute as I thought it would be. Thanks Beth.

(This was Beth's first commission, but it seems she's gotten an appetite for it, so if you want one... and if you can find her... maybe she'll do one for you.)
