Description

Not too many pages from MOS #1 around, so very happy to get this. This is the original page but the published version had a Stat over the shuttle panel; apparently DC censored it to look less like a NASA shuttle due to the Challenger disaster at that time. I can now see the original image and I also have the stat. It also has the distinction of having the first view of Byrne's Lois Lane.

Very reminiscent of a scene in the recent Superman Returns movie involving a falling airplane. Apparently the writers did their homework. Nice acquisition!
