Description

Before you is a reinterpretation by artist Richard Case (Doom Patrol, Preacher, Spider-Man) of the cover to my beloved Marvel Two in One 76, featuring the Thing, Iceman and Giant Man II (aka Black Goliath; aka Bill Foster) squaring off against the Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime.

When discussing this project, Richard immediately locked into an idea of re-doing the whole cover as a kind of circus ad or poster. I was more than happy to go along for the ride. The end result is (in my mind) reminiscent of Richard's work on Doom Patrol insofar that it is a familiar concept that we are looking in a new way.

It is truly amazing how many hours and how much creative energy and talent you have poured into this Reinterpretation project. I suspect it is much more than what went into making of MTIO Issue 76 itself ..but it is a jewel of a project on CAF and this cover is a fitting capstone. I applaud your vision.

Just think -- if there'd never been a Marvel Two-in-One 76, you'd be just "Guy" and we wouldn't be enjoying this dynamite cover by Richard Case!
