Great, great, great, great page. I remember this coming up at auction about 10, 12 years ago, when the whole book broke up. My favorite page in the book, easily. No fighting, no fancy footwork, just sheer emotions and characters. Wonderful, lonely ending. Congratulations!

Wow! Whatta page! Cuts right to the heart of who Spidey is, and what he goes through, even today! Big congrats!!

I do believe that this one would be considered "The goods" in the art collecting world.... now all you need is any of the masterfully rendered pages from Strange Tales that featured the good doctor. And how.

Wow, wow, wow.... Love mid-run Ditko from the 20s, nice juicy line-work. I could stare at that top panel all day. I think I will...

One of the best pages I've seen that captures the pathos of Spidey's existence. It's an excellent example of Steve Ditko and Stan Lee at their best. Congratulations on a great addition to your collection!

Felix, Congrats! This is a great page. The depiction of the contrasting lives of "The Human Torch (Family support without the need to hide his identity) and The ASM (Peter can't do anything that may risk the life of Aunt May, his only family, now that Uncle Ben is gone). Nobody knows the value of ones family until they're gone.

From the anguished Spidey amidst the top montage of cast characters, to the utter look of confusion on Torch's face in the third panel and finally that last lonely shot of Peter (even though the costume is on, his body-language is all Pete's), this is one emotion-packed page and a Ditko masterpiece.

Thought I'd stop by and see what the fuss is about: it's kinda crowded over here in this gallery. What's everyone looking at? It can't be worth the trouble, can it? Oh wait, it is. Simply amazing.

A fitting peak for the mountain of grails that is your collection. This page is one of the best examples of how Ditko put the AMAZING in ASM. Congratulations on owning a stunning example of comics history.

Great Artwork and what's often overlooked... Great Dialogue! End pages are awesome!!! Original Art seems more complete with the word balloon dialogue and this is a masterpiece. I look forward to seeing you on the West Coast convention circuit in 2009. Happy New Year Felix!

For me, just about any Ditko Spider-man pages are some of the most significant comic art in the history of the medium, not to mention just darn nice to look at. This page is a "amazing" example.

'Self doubting, depressed, angry, annoyed, Peter Parker. Cheer up. Uncle Ben was really old and would have died soon anyway. Enjoy your Spider powers more. Soon you will have hot girlfriends galore.' This has been a message either from the future or other side Uncle Ben. Ditkos art is always lovely and this page is great.

I might be wrong, but I seem to recall this one appearing on eBay. A friend in the hobby was discussing whether it was worth taking the plunge at about 15k. That looks like peanuts today.

This was not on eBay, I purchased it from a local collector. For a bit less than $15K. It's already been 20 years, time flies!
