I know what it means to go that extra length for "the piece" and how gratifying it can be once the dust settles. If ever a piece deserved the star treatement, its this one. Congrats' on a great one, buddy!

A pity that I couldn't go that extra length to outbid you! ;-) Anyway, this beauty is the perfect pair to your MK #26 DPS, two of the most iconic images of Sienkiewicz's run on MK! IMHO, this is THE cover! Although it was sad to lose the auction, it's a relief to know that it ended in this incredible collection of high end pieces, and owned by someone who will enjoy it and will take care of it! Thank you for sharing a good scan of it to enjoy its thiness! Really, congratulations! You're a lucky man!

One of the best runs in the history of the medium. Great use of special fx on this cover. Always a favorite.

The reproduction of this original in the cover of the second volume of MK essential sucked! They should asked you for a new scan!! Shame on them!!

What a beauty ! If Klimt had done a comic book cover 100 years ago, it could have looked just liked that. It's like a timeless classic; it will always be fantastic ! Congrats...
