Description

I got this page from Albert Moy (thanks!) simply because...well, look at it! With the exception of not having Thor on it, the page just explodes with the energy of a typical Simonson page! And since this book was done in collaboration with Stan Lee, you know Jack Kirby was at the forefront of Simonson's mind while working on this, and it shows. Plus, since Thor pages are basically non-existent, I wanted something to represent Simonson, and I'm very happy with this. Done on an oversized 14 X 19" board, but the art area measures 10.5 X 14". And due to it being an oversized board, I had to put it in a frame that hasn't been used since I got rid of my last Frank Miller Dark Knight page. And a new added bonus, the page has now been signed by writer Stan Lee when I met him at the show in Seattle in March, 2010. I then had Simonson sign it in Baltimore in August of 2011, and then met Bob Wiacek in New York City in October of 2012. Excelsior!
