Description

From Doc Savage # 5, the inside front cover.

The actual art and the published frontispiece by Curtis, a subsidiary of Marvel. The art was drawn on a heavy oversized board approximately 18 x 24. The image is smaller than the board but still oversized.

I'm not sure what Marvel was thinking when they published the washed out version as the inside cover of the magazine. All the detail of the art was lost.

Apologies for the low resolution image. Neal's Continuity Studios scanned the art for their archives so hopefully you'll see a better high resolution image in the near future.

To me one of the best Doc Savage splash/cover, surely a must have, I love it, congrats.

Wonderful piece. I love Doc Savage and Neal Adams so this is a good pairing for me!!!

This should have been the outside front cover. Don't know what Marvel was thinking when they photographed it with a camera that was underwater and apparently covered in several layers of panty hose. Although I've not seen it in person (hint, hint), this must be an amazing piece in real life. Congratulations my friend!
