Description

I will post a clearer image when I get the art home. This one is super special! Alan shared the image years ago telling me he had drawn it for a convention to use as a print. I told him how much I liked. I told him a couple of times I would would love to get something by him of John and Dejah. I love Alan�s vision of Barsoom. So imagine my total shock when Alan told me he had hand colored the original and wanted to me to have it. I was a little tongue tied but completely blown away. Alan has always been so wonderful to me and this was just an incredible gesture.

It's a wonderful composition with their legs balanced and in parallel that highlights Davis' strength in figurework. You can feel the elegance of line and their weight in the space through the color tones.
