DescriptionI really did not think I was ever going to get the chance to have George Perez do a commission for me. But with the tireless efforts of Spencer Beck, this is another wish that became reality. The only difficult part of the decision was what to get. I have a real soft spot in my heart for those Perez New Teen Titans issue...so that made the choice easier. This is Deathstroke the Terminator's lair, with the heads of Beast Boy, Cyborg, Kid Flash and Raven across the top of the "T" and Robin, Starfire and Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) down the middle. Deathstroke lights up a smoke in celebration. The detail on the armor, the weaponry and the desk are top notch. You can see copies of "The Art of War" and "The Judas Contract" on the desk. I can't thank George enough for this, or Spencer for setting it up. A wonderful experience all around. Social/Sharing |

I love the Titans Tower snow globe. The Teen Titans was one of my favorite series in the 80s. Its the series I associate with George. Another fine addition to the head museum.

I was going to say "Sorry Malvin, the Bolland is, and always will be, king"...but looking at this...I think he might be right!

I am swiftly running out of superlatives to continue to describe your fine pieces...so let me just say that this is truly a gem, a real highlight in a collection of highlights and you inspire the rest of us theme guys to "try a little bit harder" in order to keep up with you.

Spectacular! Perez and TeenTitans, I'm having flashbacks to the 1980's. It's the title that elevated him to superstar status and from the looks of that trophy wall, Perez has only gotten better. The attention to details in the backgrounds are great. It's getting harder to rank my favorites from your collection as they are all amazing. Cheers! N.

Pretty flippin' terrific! Perez definitely created the signature look for Deathstroke (along with a few favorite images by Mike Zeck) and this piece showcases the character valiantly!

It would have been cool if he'd had his mask on, but I think the whole thing just kind of works better the way George ended up doing it. Classic pose, great pin-up

Who wasn't a fan of this series in the '80's? And who else could come up with such a fitting tribute to it's greateness by being a subject of this awesome running theme. Fantastic all around.

Words really do fail at the sheer [unprintable] awesomeness of this one! I think I jokingly suggested a Titans and Deathstroke piece to you years back, but I never thought I'd see Perez do it. Perfection!

...am I wrong or is this the one you were talking about when I dropped mine off in Chi Town? Feels like just yesterday, damn that was quick! Perez cranks, I need to take a lesson from this guy. Boot in my ass! Kick ass piece Chris!!! Luv his expression. Slick job with the inks as well. PHENOM~
