Description

The Wuzzle, Bumblelion, is half bumble bee and half lion. His voice was supplied by Brian Cummings.

The Wuzzles and the Gummie Bears were Disney's first venture into television animation series. The premise for the Wuzzles, creatures who were half one animal and half another, apparently was conceived by Michael Eisner himself. Unfortunately, the public didn't find a fondness for the characters and the series only lasted one season (13 episodes).

This and the following postings represent a near complete set of model cels for the major characters of The Wuzzles series (and even a few who apparently didn't make the cut). The only main character who is missing is Tycoon, who was half tiger and half raccoon. Although I plan to do a google image search, as of the time of this writing, and after owning these model cels for over 20 years, I have no clue what Tycoon actually looks like, so I guess I can say his absence is no big loss to me. Gosh, how cynical can I be?
