DescriptionFrom the classic Avengers 100 book. The first 6 pages of the book were penciled and inked by Barry windsor Smith as the Assemblers make their way to England to figure out how they are going to go to Olympus. I must have sent my aunt to every lousy part of Manhattan circa 1982 to get me this book! I am very glad to have this page but where is page 2? thanks Mike and Nathan (and BWS).Social/Sharing |

That top tier is fantastic! BWS inking himself in this issue is untouchable. Great pick-up Rob!

The sequence whereby the Avengers come together in this issue is simply stunning. Those first six pages are a masterpiece. Museum quality.

Some of the best work ever by BWS. He lends a gentle grace to each character here.Yet you can feel the awesome power ready to explode with the turn of a page.This gets my Top Shelf seal of Approval for whatever that's worth. + + + +
