Description

I got this cover recreation from a fellow collector today. This image is a recreation of the iconic Elektra Assassin #1 cover. Done in 2017 and used as the cover for Bill's 2018 hardcover sketchbook. I have seen a few recreations of this image done but none nearly as finished as this one. Very happy to own this one. See additional images for the published sketchbook cover.

Sienkiewicz has not lost any of the intensity and emotion of this piece from the original decades before. It radiates the same badass assassin attitude! It is an image ingrained into comics readers over that time as one of his most recognized.

Bill was on a recreation kick in 2017, and he killed all of them. Beautiful.

Bill can execute in so many different styles. This is iconic. Lovely piece and definitely one of his style periods. Truly think he is an artist that has transcended comic book art.
