Descriptiongreat action page of Alan Scott the original green Lantern as he takes on a group of Nazis only to come face to face with Baron Blitzkrieg. that top panel is the money shot for me. I think it's hard to translate such a fighting scene, but this is so well done. You can almost feel Alan as he spins around the group and uses his power ring in a whirlwind matter. Also, the bottom left panel with the close up of his determination in his face. The hand is a paste stat over the original artwork.Social/Sharing |

Love this! I loved this series. It was one of my favorits when it was coming out. I remember this page well. Congrats!

This page is awesome! I think the bottom tier is just about as intense as that top panel. Big congrats!

yes there is a lot of emothion flowing through the panels.

Wow, a fantastic looking page! I remember collecting this series when it started and predicting that Brian Murray was going to become the next big star in the business! It didn't happen, but I really enjoyed the series nonetheless and the inking by Jones III is really terrific!

You are right about the series. it was alot of fun. you were also right about Murray. the pencils are nice but he just hit and run in the comic art world, Anthony S. has the next page all out battle between the two. I might pick it up and get them framed together

It must be his left hand because they want to show the ring that's on his left hand as shown in the first panel.

you are right marcus. it's on the wrong hand under the stat piece.

Fabulous JSA page! Love this page of Alan Scott battling a room full of Nazis! I agree with you that the top panel is amazing! But I also love that final panel of Baron Blitzkrieg bursting out of hiding to blast Scott with his eye beams! Gorgeous work by Brian Murrary and Malcom Jones III. Fantastic pick-up!
