Description

We're reframing this, so I took the opportunity to take a good scan of it and thought I'd post it today. It's my favorite of the interior illustrations we own by Ed Emshwiller, and appeared in the August 1960 issue of the science fiction digest Galaxy, illustrating "Drunkard's Walk" by Frederik Pohl. We acquired this directly from Pohl back in 2005. To me, it has a bit of a Star Trek feel, though Star Trek wouldn't appear for several more years.
