Description

Cosmic Angela Card
Card #141 from the Spawn Power Cardz Collectible Game Card set
Published 1995 by Caliber Game Systems.

Unlike most of the comic world, I had no interest in Spawn.
Then the character Angela appeared.
I went back and read the early issues and was a fan of the animated HBO series.
And of course I was thrilled with the cameo she had in the Spawn movie.
The character was created by Neil Gaiman and Todd McFarlane. Gaiman subsequently won full rights to the character and sold her to Marvel Comics.

I primarily know Don Hillsman as a regular inker at CrossGen (R.I.P.), so he's the last artist I would ever have guessed would be chosen to draw an Angela card. But what a nice surprise!
